The ferry from Edmonds takes travelers from the North Seattle/Everett side of the sound to the northern tip of the Kitsap Peninsula. Travelers can also leave their car in Edmonds near the dock and walk aboard.

The ferry from West Seattle takes travelers from the Fauntleroy Dock to Vashon Island and then on to Southworth on the Kitsap Peninsula.

	Silverdale Union  add item		Drives & Itineraries		Hood Canal Loop Quilcene, Brinnon, Hoodsport, Union		A shorter version of the Olympics loop, the Hood Canal Loop winds along the Hood Canal with great views and charming waterfront communities. Allow about 6 to 8 hours to cover the 200 mile route.

It's the best route for those traveling from southern Washington or Oregon.
